逾期交通罰款 今起可到超商繳

部分民眾開車違規被開單，會心存僥倖拖著不繳。公路總局統計，近五年逾期未繳被移送的2萬元以下交通違規罰款，高達近166萬件，總金額估計約20至30億元。今天起這些罰款可就近到超商繳納，不必跑行政執行處或監理站。
公路總局監理組長謝界田表示，依照規定，民眾逾期未繳的交通違規罰款，超過五年就不能追繳。但民眾逾期不繳罰款，不但罰款金額增加，也不能換駕照、行照，駕照被註銷後要重新考照，也要繳完罰款才能報考。
謝界田表示，移送法務部行政執行署各執行處的逾期交通違規罰款，過去只能到監理處或執行處繳納，對上班民眾比較不方便。公路總局已經和法務部行政執行署台北行政執行處完成電腦測試，今天起民眾收到三段式條碼交通違規罰鍰傳繳通知書，若罰款金額在2萬元以下，就可在期限內直接到統一、萊爾富、全家、來來等超商繳納，每筆要加收手續費7元。
